One of the best ways to remember your dreams is to get into a routine of writing them down. In order to do this, you have to have a dream journal and pen right beside your bed. When you wake up in the morning, roll over and write. If you lie there for a little bit and try to remember the dream, you will watch it scurry away and hide in corners you didn't even know existed in your mind. Just write. Even if all you can remember is the barest part of a fragment, write it down. It might be a color, a piece of furniture, a place, a room, anything. The more you write, the more the dreams will come, like a cat with a ball of thread. Don't worry if they just disappear at first, just keep at it, and your unconscious will send you more riches than you can imagine.

Also if you wake up in the middle of the night and you remember a dream quickly write it down. Even if you can't see properly, feel for the paper and scratch it out. In the morning whatever you have written will help you navigate back into your nightly travels to uncover the fascinating information that is waiting to be discovered.
